Aaron Joy appointed as Games Director

Events Manager Aaron Joy has been appointed as Games Director for the 2013 Special Olympics New Zealand National Summer Games.

Joy has managed the New Zealand Masters Games for the Dunedin City Council since 2003.

Special Olympics New Zealand say through his work with the DCC, Joy was instrumental in securing Dunedin as the location.

It's the largest event held in New Zealand for people with intellectual disabilities.
