Aspiring musicians got the chance to perform on stage

Aspiring Dunedin musicians got the chance to perform on stage in front of their peers over the weekend, at the Amped Music project gig.

The event gives young people the opportunity to show off their musical talents, while gaining confidence at the same time.

And organisers say the event was so successful some of the performers have been booked to go on tour.
