Caversham highway work may extend to 24 hours

The New Zealand Transport Agency may expand work on the final seal of the four-lane Caversham highway to 24 hours a day.

The agency says the extra work is required to complete the final surfacing by the end of this week.

The resealing is the last major job on the new section of State Highway One.

The $20 million project opened in October last year.
