Challenge to tour on a budget nearing its end

When two friends bet each other they couldn't make it from one end of the country to the other on $100, the challenge was on.

The women left their hometown of Cambridge a week ago and are only two days away from their goal - Stewart Island.

Along the way they've met many characters, and thanks to the generosity of Kiwis they've also raised money for a cause dear to their hearts.
