Chinese Garden to begin major management changes
Dunedin's Chinese Garden is soon to begin major management changes that will see the facility integrate with the next door Settlers Museum.
The garden is struggling to reduce its reliance on more than half a million dollars of ratepayer funds each year.
But China is keeping a close eye on a garden it sees as an important part of international relations.
And the garden's finances are held back by a gift from the DCC that was not really a gift.
