Christchurch Marmite Factory's final building inspection only days away

Marmite lovers across the country can heave a sigh of relief as their favourite yeasty spread may be one step closer to returning to their tables.

Sanitarium announced today on their Facebook page that their Christchurch Marmite Factory's final building inspection is only days away.

This will give them formal access to start reviewing the functionality of their manufacturing plant and equipment.

Marmite production was suspended in March after earthquake damage to a cooling tower at the factory rendered the building unsafe.
