Dunedin nurses soon off to India

After attending a talk about the work of a rural hospital in India, two local trainee nurses decided they wanted the opportunity to help the people who run it.

They applied to be volunteers at the Institute for Indian Mother and Child, and much to their surprise they were the only New Zealander's chosen.

They'll be winging their way to India soon, and thanks to the generosity of our national airline they'll be taking much needed supplies.
