Former president of New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association named to head Parliamentary inquiry
A former president of the New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association has been named to head a Parliamentary inquiry into manufacturing.
Cameron Moore has experience as a director of manufacturing and exporting companies.
The inquiry was launched last month by opposition parties Labour, the Greens and New Zealand First.
Labour says government members of the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee blocked a select committee inquiry into the issue.
Dunedin's Hillside Workshops was yesterday added to the list of manufacturers closed during what opposition parties are calling a crisis in manufacturing.
