Blustery conditions over the weekend didn't favour either team in the final of the Otago Rugby League Spring Competition.

The game between the Dragons and the Hawks was a hard fought encounter.

But for one team, having the wind behind them in the second half gave them the push they needed to get over the line and take out the match.
