International collaboration between museums bearing fruit

An international collaboration between the Otago Museum and a Thai museum is bearing fruit.

Otago will this weekend welcome the vice president of the National Science Museum of Thailand, the first outcome of a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between the two.

Thanakorn Palachai is well-known internationally for his science shows, which he will be presenting at the museum during school holidays.

More is expected to come from the relationship, with collaborations in areas including research, collections and exhibitions.
