More soldiers killed in Afghanistan

The New Zealand defence force's success in the Bamiyan province, and its work training an Afghan rapid reaction team, are two reasons the Taliban is targeting the area.

That had tragic consequences overnight with the death of a further three Kiwis, hit by a Taliban bomb, bringing to five the casualties in the last couple of weeks.

And the tragedy has heaped pressure on the Government to bring our soldiers home.
