Nationwide Kereru count this week

Kereru or Wood Pigeons are declining in numbers due to predators.

So Forest and Bird is running a nationwide Kereru count this week, to provide a snapshot of populations and distribution.

And last year's results proved promising, with Dunedin listing the most sightings of Kereru across the country.
