Newly appointed Neurosurgeon officially starts role

Residents in Otago and Southland have fought hard to retain Neurosurgery services in Dunedin.

And this week, their efforts came a step closer to being realised, as a newly appointed UK Neurosurgeon officially started his role.

Reuben Johnson acknowledges the 'tough job' ahead - to fill in the gaps of academic research that have been lacking in the department.
