November weather not the best

Unsettled, cold and windy - none of the adjectives used to describe November's weather would prompt an early summer trip to the beach.

RainEffects' review of the month in Dunedin shows a series of fronts and troughs pummelled the city.

They were followed by southwest airstreams that made sure there was no lack of rain.

Dunedin farmers reported improved growth in the last ten days of the month, after a slow start.
