Otago Polytech to lose funding

Otago Polytechnic is set to lose around $2.8m of government funding in 2011 as part of a series of wider cuts to the industry to the tune of $20m.

The President of the Otago Polytechnic Students Association believes the cuts may spell the demise of some tertiary institutions in New Zealand.
