They are due to appear in court next week.
And around 1.30 am, police observed a black Nissan Skyline in Thomas Burns Street, and attempted to pull it over to talk to the occupants.
The vehicle took off at speed, heading north with police in pursuit.
The pursuit was called off but police located the car a short time later in Warden Street, Opoho.
The occupants had taken off but there was warm McDonalds left on the front seat.
A police dog did an extensive track but could not locate the driver.
