Police seek man after attack

Police are looking for a Maori or Polynesian in his early 30s, following a suspected sexually motivated attack this morning.

A 25 year old Dunedin woman was walking up a track towards Jubilee Park at 9.30am.

The man allegedly grabbed her, pushed her to the ground and held her there for a short time, before releasing her and running away.

Police are looking for a 5'6" or 160cm tall man, of medium build.

He has tightly curled black hair and was wearing a red and white flannelet shirt and wrap-around sunglasses.

Anyone with information is urged to call the police.
