Preparation for the seventh New Zealand International Science Festival is now well underway, with the recent appointment of an Associate Director, Chris Green.

This year the festival will take place in Dunedin, from the 6th until the 11th of July, with the theme Everyday Science; food for thought.

Festival Director Sue Clarke says the festival will benefit greatly from the event management skills and experience Green brings to the role.

Green has an extensive background in marketing and communication roles, including previous positions as Marketing Manager of the Otago Rugby Union and the Highlanders, and Sales and Marketing Manager of Kapiti Fine Foods Ltd.
