Queen's representative presents awards

The Queen's representative in New Zealand brought the full weight of crown and country south on the weekend, as he presented 55 young people with a special award.

Governor General Sir Jerry Mateparae was in Dunedin to present Duke of Edinburgh Awards at Otago Girls High School.

A Government minister also at the ceremony was keen to highlight the fact young people are not all about youth offending.
