Some changes, but police station to remain

Rumours the North East Valley police station may close resulted in a visit to the suburb by some of the force's top brass.

A community meeting heard there would be some changes, though the station and the local community constable would stay.

It also became clear a recent high-profile operation in the area had spooked some residents.
