Tuatara gifted to five different locations throughout New Zealand

222 wild Tuatara have been gifted to five different locations throughout New Zealand, as part of a National Recovery Programme.

Orokonui has received 44 of the Tuatara, making it the only sanctuary in the South Island to be the recipient of one of the transfers.
