Unemployment situation in Dunedin not as gloomy

Unemployment in New Zealand has hit a thirteen year high, standing at 7.3% for the September quarter.

The figures have bought a chorus of criticism from the opposition and unions.

But while the national situation does not augur well for job seekers, the situation in Dunedin is said to be not quite as gloomy.
