Value of goods exported from New Zealand falls

The value of goods exported from New Zealand fell by more than $420 million last month.

That figure was 11% less than in October last year.

Milk powder, butter and cheese had the largest decrease, down 20%.

Statistics New Zealand says half of the fall in export values was due to the falling value of dairy.

It came despite an increase in the quantity of dairy exported.
