The second semester at University got underway today and as students returned to Dunedin they were welcomed with a letter from the Vice-Chancellor a large proportion of which regarded conduct.

Another letter was sent by the University Proctor to residents of Castle Street, who were today holding a street party.

While the aim of the letters is to discourage misbehaviour, a Student Leader is concerned the opposite may occur.
