VSM debated at the Otago University

The subject of Voluntary Student Membership, or VSM, was debated today at The University of Otago.

Opponents of VSM argued that all students, but particularly minorities, would lose out if student association membership became voluntary; while those for VSM argued the current system is a breach of human rights.
