Wilful damage to clothing in North-East Valley
Dunedin police report a case of wilful damage to clothing hanging on a clothesline, behind some council flats on Norwood Street.
Senior Sergeant Bruce Ross says the clothes had been hanging there for days after drying off from the rain.
But when the owner went to remove them this week, they found their jeans, socks and jerseys had been slashed.
Police say another two residents in the area have reported the same type of damage to their clothes, as well.
