Wind makes perfect conditions for national championship

When the wind finally made an appearance on the harbour this afternoon, the New Zealand National Slalom Windsurfing Championships got off the start line.

Competitors have been waiting for a couple of days for windy conditions so they could get out on the water and do what they do best: race fast.
