The company says chairman Jim Askew will become Executive Chairman in the interim.

In a statement, departing Chief Executive Paul Bibby says he's pleased with what the company has been achieved during his tenure.

Police seek information on stolen tools

Dunedin Police are asking for help after noticing an increase in the number of thefts of tradesman's tools.

Senior Sergeant Bruce Ross of Dunedin Police says tools have been removed from four residential building sites, and six tradesman's vehicles, ranging in value from $300 to $1,500 dollars.

Classes cancelled

Classes at the University of Otago in Christchurch have been cancelled this week following Saturday's earthquake, as structural engineers check the facilities for damage.

Reports indicate the main building hasn't suffered any major structural damage, and can be progressively reoccupied, though significant cleanup is still required.
