As well as the incident at Bathgate Park, a search warrant was executed at a Maitland Street address, where Police found a number of goods allegedly stolen from Briscoes last week. Police have experienced an especially busy weekend. Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson says 34 arrests were made in the city between 12am Saturday and 12am this morning. Offences included disorder, breach of bail, theft, assault and drink driving. And it seems the fairer sex were better behaved over the weekend with only four of those arrested being female. ›read more
