Police are still seeking information about a fatal crash in Mosgiel last month.

A 92 year old war veteran died in hospital after being hit by a car while he walked across Wickliffe Street in Mosgiel.

The incident happened on October the 16th at about 4.30pm.

Police have almost finished their inquiries into the crash, but are still hoping to hear from a cyclist who may have witnessed it.

The elderly man was struck by a green Mitsubishi Lancer, which was being driven by another elderly resident.

Mosgiel police say the cyclist, or anyone else with information about the crash, should contact them immediately.
