A car stolen from Dunedin has been found burnt-out in Christchurch.

The white Nissan Pulsar was reported stolen yesterday, from a Waverley address.

And early this morning the vehicle was found in Christchurch, having been torched.

Police believe the vehicle was used in a petrol drive-off at Timaru.

That incident occurred yesterday, allegedly when the car was being driven from Dunedin to Christchurch.

Police are still looking for the offender, or offenders, involved in the thefts.

And their enquiries are continuing.
