Entries are rolling in for this month's Dunedin to Brighton Veteran Vehicle Run.

A vintage fire engine from 1916 will be a star attraction of the annual classic car showcase, being held on January the 24th.

Already entered are more than 20 cars each over 100 years old.

And there's also two vintage motorcycles and a truck registered.

Vehicles must have been built before 1919 to be eligible for the event.

It's being organised by the Otago Branch of the Vintage Car Club, and comprises a wide range of vehicles from England, France, America and Scotland.
