Cycleways, Saddle Hill mining and Gigatown plans have come to the fore during the city council's draft long term plan hearing.

Councillors, staff and community board members began initial discussions on the draft plan this morning.

It was the outlying board members who had the floor, tasked with ensuring the needs of their communities were heard loud and clear.
