Tenders are being called for in relation to the multi-million dollar construction of a new Emerson's Brewery complex.
It'll include a restaurant and bar, and is aimed at becoming a tourist attraction, similar to Speight's.
The complex is being built on the former Hall Bros Transport depot site at the intersection of Anzac Avenue and Frederick Street.
Sub-contractors and suppliers have until Thursday to submit tenders for the work.
The brewery complex is designed to include public tours and a retail store.
It's owned by Lion, New Zealand's largest alcohol beverage company, which also owns Speight's.
