Dunedin City Council staff are sorting through thousands of submissions on the draft long term plan.

Just under 2,200 submissions have been received.

Staff are sorting feedback according to the topics addressed by submitters.

The proposed Mosgiel swimming pool complex is one of the most popular subjects, as is the Otago Peninsula road widening project.

Councillors will formally start considering public feedback on the draft long term plan, as part of a hearings process.

The plan's due to be adopted later this year.
