A report of a peeping Tom around student apartments is being investigated by police.

The tenants of an Anzac Avenue flat reported seeing a young man looking through their windows around 11pm last night.

He's described as being of medium build and approximately 180cm in height.

Police are also investigating the burglary of a Mornington house, from which a television and eftpos card were stolen.

The theft occurred overnight in Walter Street and police hope to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area.
