The spate of car thefts in South Dunedin is continuing, with the area around Hillside Road the latest hit.

A silver Peugot is yet to be recovered after it was taken from the Pak'n'Save car park on Friday.

And on nearby Bayview Road, a blue Ford truck has also been reported stolen.

A police spokesperson reminded owners to lock their cars, and remove valuables, given the area had been hit more than once in the last week.
