An Otago Polytechnic fashion design graduate is making it big in the United States.

Duncan Chambers-Watson is one of 16 designers on the upcoming season of reality television show Project Runway.

He's one of just a few New Zealanders to be selected for the long-running show, now in its 14th season.

And he's the only Otago graduate to be selected.

Last year's winner hailed from Taranaki.

25 year old Chambers-Watson graduated from Otago Polytechnic last year.

He had a collection in this year's iD Dunedin Fashion Show.
