Situation

A trough of low pressure will move over the country today. A front will be spreading over New
Zealand tomorrow, followed by a period of cooler southwest airflow. An anticyclone will move
towards the North Island on Thursday and Friday while another front moves onto the South
Island at the weekend.

Dunedin

Cold tonight with frosts. Fine and sunny tomorrow with light westerly winds. Cool. Milder
northwesterlies increasing to become strong and gusty later on Friday, high cloud increasing.
Some rain at night.

North Otago

Cold tonight with frosts. Fine and sunny tomorrow with light winds, tending northeast on the
coast. Cool. Milder northwesterlies increasing to become strong and gusty later on Friday, high
cloud increasing. Some rain at night.

Central Otago

Cold tonight with frosts. Fine and sunny tomorrow with light westerly winds. Cool. Milder
northwesterlies increasing to become strong and gusty later on Friday, high cloud increasing.
