Another Vote For The Proposed Otago Stadium

At an Otago Regional Council meeting this morning councillors voted four to six in favour of committing funding to the proposed Otago Stadium.

The vote came after councillors were told Carisbrook Stadium Trust Chairman Malcom Farry had received a letter indicating the Government would under-write a 15 million dollar funding short-fall. Mayor Peter Chin gives his reaction to today's developments.
