Cruise ship season officially opens

Cruise ship season has officially opened in Dunedin with the season's first visiting ship berthed at Port Chalmers.

With ships sometimes carrying upwards of a thousand passengers, all wanting to experience the best Dunedin has to offer, the Dunedin Visitors Centre must brace itself for a wave of tourist enquiries.
