Line up for National Cinema Showcase announced

The line-up for this year's National World Cinema Showcase has been announced and includes several films of note.

This will be the twelfth year the festival is held at Dunedin's Regent Theatre and highlights include the much talked about Cannes Film Festival favourite 'The White Ribbon' by German director Michael Haneke.

Running for two weeks, the festival includes films from several different genres, giving Dunedin's film-lovers a menu of quality films from all around the world.

Event Publicist Kitty Brown describes the festival, which opens on the 22nd of April as independent film at its very best.
