Recycling and rubbish collection changes announced today

What is being dubbed as the biggest shake-up to kerbside recycling and rubbish collection since amalgamation was announced by the Dunedin City Council today.

The major points of the announcement were to do with the introduction of wheelie bins for recycling, and the separation of glass from other recyclables which is hoped to result in an economically viable product.
