Specialist interviewer to help with alleged assault

A specialist child interviewer has been brought in to help deal with police investigations, following the alleged sexual assault of a 12 year old girl last night.

The incident occurred in South Dunedin at about 8pm, as the girl walked to meet her mother, who was some distance down the street.
