Mortgaged home owners shopping for better deals

A new survey shows home owners with mortgages are shopping around for better deals.

Horizon Research surveyed more than 1000 residential home owners with mortgages.

The results show 13% are looking for better interest or loan conditions at the moment.

And 43% expect to shop for a better mortgage rate or loan conditions within the next 12 months.

Reasons suggested were pressure on mortgage providers to compete, as well as worsening household finances.
