More than half a million dollars raised in through appeal
More than half a million dollars has been raised in the past five years for sick Dunedin children through an annual appeal.
The money has been given to the Dunedin Hospital childrens' pavillion, and over the next three months organisers are hoping to add to that tally.
Countdown Kids Hospital Appeal chairperson Ruth Krippner says the appeal is all about helping make things better for the kids.
Everything from electronic games, electric beds, and children’s scales to parenting resources have been purchased from the proceeds.
The appeal runs until October the 28th.
