Value of international investments grows

The value of New Zealand's overseas direct investment in Southeast Asia has grown from less than $1 billion four years ago, to more than $2 billion this year.

Half of New Zealand's total ODI of $24 billion was held in Australia.

Statistics New Zealand says investment in Southeast Asia has caught up with Europe, which has fallen in recent years.
