Otago Festival of the Arts underway this evening

The Otago Festival of the Arts get under way this evening, with a play inspired by letters written by one of New Zealand's better known artists.

The love story of Rita Angus and composer Douglas Lilburn is told through the combination of theatre, art and music.

And the playwright says the audience will learn a lot about life in the 40's and 50's.
