Labour costs up 2.6%

Labour costs rose 2.6% in the year to June.

Non-wage costs, which include outlays on the likes of medical insurance and motor vehicles, rose 5.9%.

The Statistics New Zealand figures show salary and wage rates, including overtime, increased 2%.
