Survey to help determine future of Forsyth Barr Stadium

The 220 organisations that have used Forsyth Barr Stadium since it opened will be surveyed, as the DCC considers the future of the facility.

The Council also wants community input as it consults on a review of the stadium’s operation and funding.

With the stadium open for more than a year, the council says it wants to ensure the community can use the facility.

As well, it hopes operating costs can be reduced, and revenue increased.

Consultation closes on the 9th of November, then the matter will be considered by the Stadium Model Subcommittee, chaired by Mayor Dave Cull.
